Barcelos is named after an old Portuguese town that is famous for an ancient legend of the Barcelos rooster hence the theme of Portugal is reflected through the interiors and designs of the restaurant. Barcelos keeps its focus on the modern and antique art for the decor. Interiors have been done keeping in mind the eccentricity with a huge sitting area. Each wall of the restaurant depicts a story of Portugal which is very distinctive and striking. The famous personalities and the different shades of Portugal have been painted on these walls. The 3D painting of real streets of Portugal on the wall is quite fascinating which creates an authentic ambience of a Portugal town inside the restaurant.
After a successful debut in India with its first restaurant in National Capital’s Khan Market, Barcelos now launches its second restaurant in the most happening market of Hauz Khas Village in New Delhi. Barcelos is located right next to Imperfecto thus making it very easy for the people to spot the restaurant.
Barcelos is famous for its flame grilled Peri Peri menu and has created its own exclusive following. Barcelos revolutionized the concept of the ‘burger’ by introducing their colored burger recipe, such as red, black, white and the basic brown burger. They also serve perfectly grilled chicken with an option of 4 sauces (VeriPeri, MildPeri, SupaPeri and Tangy Lemon).
In just a few months, Barcelos has created a niche for themselves with their innovative salads, beverages like Molecular drinks, boozy shakes and by introducing India’s first Sangria Bar.
