South Goa is the more peaceful half of the state, and for many travellers that’s the pull. There are fewer activities with a small number of clubs, shacks and restaurants but in general the beaches of the south are cleaner, whiter and are less crowded as compared to the north. The coast of South Goa consists of five star resorts of Cavelossim as well as backpacker beach huts of Palolem. If you want to take it easy, relax and re-energize yourself, this is where you should be.

Open for about 8 months out of the year, Thalassa has an exquisite menu with food cooked to perfection. This restaurant is ideally located on the cliff with an endless breathtaking view of the Vagator beach, palm trees and the sunset.  Thalassa’s staff puts on a real show that includes great fire dance, Greek Belly dancing and a lot of fanfare along with plate being crushed and lively music to entertain their customers.  The place starts to get crowded after 5pm so reservations are recommended to get a table with the best possible view.

Curlies is situated on a quiet & detached portion of Anjuna Beach. But once you arrive at it, the partying spirit surrounding this place instantly uplifts your mood. The shack offers a wide variety of food to choose from and the drinks are reasonably priced & cocktails are pretty decent. The LPK waterfront is one of the most striking party spot in Goa located on the banks of the River Nerul in Candolim. Club LPK is spot on to its name. Love, passion and karma – all three are appropriately depicted by the party scene and the fantastic décor of the club. Exceptionally sculpted teracotta statues all around with an amazing view in the background, LPK Goa is all it promises. This club is surrounded by water on three sides. In the club, there are carvings all over the walls and ceilings. This cave-like structure takes us back to our antediluvian times with post-modern music.

  • Club Cubana
