Sarhad

While on my trip to amritsar, i came across this place known as sarhad. It is just before Attari or Wagha Border. They serve pakistani and indian food  in a punjab style brick building. Not many people know about the place, but it totally worth a try. The menu has lots to offer, but we chose to have their NonVeg Thal which had Mutton Biryani, Chapli Kebab, Mutton curry, Dal Makhni and Naan. Surprisingly the food was very well made and 1 thal could fill 2 people. The surroundings of the place is peaceful and lot of art work done to enhance the beauty.
There is a wall mural which describes the partition of india & pakistan. A pakistani artist named Haider Ali has also done a great job by painting the rickshaws in pakistani style.
One place i would like to visit again and again.sarhad (2)sarhad (3)sarhad (1)
